A blog with a tiny travel dog

The adventures of my dog in Costa Rica

Every dog and cat lover probably knows the problem: an overload of ‘dahhwww’ pictures of your four-legged friend in your phone inbox. No need to feel ashamed of that! Since my dog is the absolute best creature in the world (and I’m sure yours is too!) and joined me on so many adventures, I decided to create a small article with all of its best pictures. Because, why not. It’s my blogparty and I can post whatever I want after all :).

So there you have it, two years of adventures of Chapo – a stray adopted from the streets in Puerto Limón – in Costa Rica!

Name: Chapo

Age: Probably some 2,5 years old now. We got her at 6 months, as estimated by the vet

Why the name?: In the beginning she made a habit of escaping (like El Chapo), often at the most inconvenient times. So whenever you really need to go. Friends of ours even missed their flight while taking care of her, because she sneaked away.

Best times: Chapo loves to hang out of the car and watch everything roll by; the beach, palm trees, birds, other dogs (how dare they walk there?! bark!)

Loves: Chasing squirrels, geckos and bats, annoying cats, rolling in fishes, begging for food (my bad), barking at the mailman

Secret talent: As she has only three functioning legs (muscles in the other stopped working after she was hit by a car) it's amazing to see how she manages hiking for hours and jumping over trees and climbing stairs. Quite the endurance
